Be Grateful

From judgement to fear I let them all disappear as I mentally threw those walls into a burning fire.

Today I took a deeper look into the emotional walls I’ve had a habit of putting up, or burying for safe keeping. This desire came after I discovered a deeper desire to love everyone. Yes, EVERYONE. To offer God’s love & warmth as Jesus Christ did and continues to do, is my deepest desire this morning. However, that meant I first had to shed my old walls that hindered that ability. So, from judgement to fear I let them all disappear as I mentally threw those walls into a burning fire.

What I was left with was an empty corridor that didn’t know what to replace my fears with. All there was to do now was trust. Trust that my Heavenly Father is someone I can lean on. All these walls were born out of my need to control. I just gave those up, so the one leading the way now is Him. I know that when we work together, the more I’ll understand my true value, my purpose, and grow into the Chelsea I was meant to become. The closer I am to Him, the closer I am to me. Period.

As I listened for guidance this morning on how to switch my heart setting and mindset to loving others always, without slipping back, my mind and heart remembered gratitude. When I’m grateful, I’m not complaining, being frustrated, or judging. The more I’m grateful, the more I’m able to see His hands in my life. The more gratitude I have, the more I am open to His love and the happier I’ll be. The happier I am the more I’m full of joy. When I’m filled with joy, His light and love will shine through me to others!

Being grateful -> Love & Happiness = JOY

So, for 2 weeks I will post everyday on why I am grateful. It will be about that day specifically and possibly some personal insights. I invite you to journal along with me and see how gratitude can change your life. What’s the worst that could happen?

You could change for the better.
